Oct. 24th, 2020 09:05 pmHero... has been through a lot. By which I mean, do whatever, it's cool! I'll note that she's got substantial defenses against mental powers and other forms of unwanted enchantments/changes and the like. Substantial toughness, too, she's duked it out with demon kings and the occasional evil god. But just drop a line with what your character's trying and we'll work out what happens from there.
OOCly, only thing I'm not cool with is IC transphobia from your character. It just hits too close to home.
In terms of what your character might learn about her, she's practically brimming with light magic, to the point where her actual form is basically this.

So, yeah, powerful light being that used to be human but was isekaied so many times and played the role of hero so many times and used light magic so much that she became something no longer human. But mostly she has a human form!
I think that's about it, she has no CWs in general and her powers are pretty straightward (blast/buff/heal/purify with light magic and sword really good).

Character Information
Name: Hero
Canon: Original
OU/AU/CRAU/OC: OC
World info:
There is no one world that Hero calls home. She is constantly traveling from world to world, wherever she is needed. Common elements among those worlds is the existence of humans, demons, a Demon King or President or the like, and the idea of the Hero. Of all them, only the idea of a Hero is an absolutely universal constant. Worlds can vary from high fantasy to futuristic to urban fantasy to surreal settings. Of those, high fantasy worlds with a Demon King are particularly common.
History:
Hero once hailed from a modern world like ours, but she remembers very little of that world. She does not even remember her name. It started when she was summoned as a Hero to a world in dire threat from a Demon King. She grew strong, mastered the elements and light magic and the sword, fought her way to the Demon King, and defeated them.
Then, once her task was done, she ended up in another world with another Demon King. And again. And again. And again. She never returned to her homeworld, instead repeatedly ending up in worlds in need of a Hero. At some time she started counting the years... and stopped bothering after a millennium.
The longer she played the role of the Hero, the more worlds she helped, the more she became the very definition of Hero. She grew so used to being called Hero that her old name fell by the wayside and became forgotten. And more and more, her light magic began to fill her very being. All her elemental magic was subsumed into her light magic, until she only had light magic. Her humanity gave way to more and more Light.
Another world. A negotiation between the humans and demons, bringing an end to their war. Another world. A card game that decided the fate of the world. Another world. An evil god slain. Another world. A god of 'Good' slain for their oppression of the populate. Another world. A conventional Demon King slain. Another world. A marriage of love made possible between the Demon Queen and a human mage. And so on. And so on.
At this point, Hero had long since became an incarnation of the very idea of a Hero. She no longer had to be summoned, instead just disappearing into glowing mist to go wherever she is needed.
Canon point: After saving a world and before her next world. At an inbetween point, in other words.
Age: Unknown number of millennia.
Personality:
On first appearance, being an ideal Hero has consumed her entire identity. She lives and breathes to be Hero, to the point where it has become virtually impossible for her not to try and do her best by everyone. She lies only when absolutely necessary, always stands up to evil, and helps people all the time. She is extremely driven toward this ideal, and if she encounters someone who claims the title of a hero while doing terrible things, her response is rage.
Yet at the same time, she's become almost robotic in her manner of speaking and expression. She uses brief partial sentences, speaks in a monotone, and her expression changes little. It is almost as if she's become a robot whose purpose is to Hero. This is in part her reaction to her endless duty as well as all the violence she's seen. And she tends to only allow people a certain degree of closeness, because she knows she will have to leave.
When faced with a novel situation, she tends to fall back to her usual routine. Determine Problem. Determine Solution. Execute Solution. Depart. This robotic-like routine is more of an adaptation to the endless array of situations she's encountered that called for such an approach. She will always do her research before deciding what to do, because she's been tricked before.
But that's just the initial impression. Inside is an actual person who sincerely cares for people, particularly children and others unable to stand up for themselves. In a sense, she has a motherly personality. She also experiences frustration at the endless misdeeds she's witnessed and has wondered why people just can't be good. Surely it's simple. And a part of her is a little weary, but this part is outweighed by her sheer determination.
She has had few chances to truly relax, but in those precious moments one can catch glimpse of a playful person who doesn't mind being silly. She can be a master of deadpan humor at times.
Character changes:
Mainly I hope for her to basically break out at least a little of the routine she's fallen into and come out of her 'I am the Hero' shell. And maybe find sincere friendship.
Capabilities:
To put it simply, Hero is formidable. She has millennia of combat experience and is extremely proficient with both a sword and light magic. Both her sword and her light magic are practically natural parts of her and she wields both with casual ease.
With her light magic, she can do light attacks in many forms, heal people, protect them and bolster their strength. She can also do purification stuff. As well, her light is able to take on some but not all traits of fire, water, earth, and air magic, having consumed her elemental magic.
In addition, her determination as a Hero tends to spur her forward, allowing her to prevail even in some situations where the odds have been against her. She also has shown an ability to rise to the occasion when her duty as a Hero specifically requires it, allowing her to handle things like diplomatic negotiations and card games. When she does something that isn't related to her heroic duty, she's not nearly as capable--it's like her charisma or card game playing ability goes away.
And, well. She no longer is quite a human entity. She doesn't even bleed red blood. She bleeds light. Essentially, Light has consumed so much of her that her human shape is essentially a facade for the unwavering Light within her. Her true form is something like this:
On her travels, she's learned how to travel between worlds and now instead of being summoned she simply enters a glowing mist and lets it pull her wherever she needs to be, emerging from a similar mist on the other side. She can also choose to direct where this mist takes her and has done so to revisit previous worlds to check up on how things are going.
